I’m always look for decent cafés that are within a less than 20 minute drive from my home. My ideal café would be around the corner. My city suffers from a dirth of good cafés. It’s part of regular conversations I have with friends and even total strangers.
Last night I had the pleasure of visiting a good café in Holyoke, the Talking Drum. Nice place that I will definitely be visiting again. Nathan Davis, the owner, has done a marvelous job putting together several of what I consider to be the “healthy ingredients” of a good café atmosphere.
If the folks I was with have their way, Friday nights will become potluck and cabaret night.
