Halloween brings out the best in us. Here, a friend who lives nearby gives a little love-kiss to his/her dog.

Nice. These two make a good pair. You should see their baby, who was dressed up like a pumpkin. She slept through most of the trick-or-treating. Our friends here were relieved to be out and about with River and our kids on the big candy night, so they didn’t look “too old” to be out asking for sweets. But hey, if this pair showed up at your door, you’d do whatever they asked, right?

I have to say the shoes really do it for me. Shiny black loafers, no socks, hairy legs. They told me that as they were walking along the dark streets on their way to our house, pushing the sleeping pumpkin in the baby stroller, they got a couple of cat calls, like “Whoo hoo, baby, nice legs!” One guy was sorta trying to hit on the woman/man even though s/he is obviously very, dangerously pregnant.

Something to say?
