Scott Adams, who writes the Dilbert comic strip, has had an engaging blog going for a while now. He occasionaly takes on religious topics, and recently he pondered the rationale for believing, or not, in various prophets. Specifically, he wondered how a person can believe in Moses but not Muhammad.
It looks like at least one Bahá’í spoke up in the comments, which is nice to see, after all the other comments quoting scripture from one religion or another, or accusing Adams of simply trying to get readers riled up by asking (in my view) important and honest questions. In other posts, Adams has taken on the matter of whether religious faith is closely associated with low IQ, and he’s asked for people of faith—”believers”—to offer some explanations. Like most people, whether “believers” or not, he seems to be struggling with something around the issue of religious faith.
